Shred-Tech’s MDS-2C gets its amazing performance from the ST-15H shredder. The cast aluminium shredder has exceptional strength without the weight of steel. It shreds up to 2,200 kg/h. The shredder features hub knives, high strength alloy shafts, as well as two all new patented innovations: cast-in cleaning fingers and a bridgeless vibrating feed hopper.

ST-15H Shredder

The power and performance of the MDS-2C comes from its solid ST-15H Shredder. This high-quality machine is built from cast aluminum for optimized strength without the weight burden of steel. It has an impressive throughput of 2,200 kg per hour that lets you maximize efficiency and workflow to finish each individual shredding job in no time. Designed with high-strength alloy shafts with durable hub knives, the ST-15H has the bite needed to rip apart the documents into unintelligible shreds, effectively protecting your client’s information. The shredder also features two new innovative additions: cast-in cleaning fingers and a bridgeless vibrating feed hopper. This vibrating hopper feature means that if the shredder doesn’t detect enough pressure, it will automatically feed itself by vibrating the upper portion of the hopper. The vibrations are contained to that upper section so that the rest of the shredder and the truck are unaffected.

Auger Compactor & Auto Unloading

All MDS systems come equipped with Shred-Tech’s angled compactor design and durable Walking
Floor® unloading system. Together, these features ensure maximum payload of up to 4,000 kg and the discharge of shredded material in a few minutes. This equates to more time on-route shredding paper and generating revenue.

Bin Tunnel

The MDS-2C is equipped with the Gripper Tipper® loading system. This proprietary and patented system allows for easy ground or curb level loading. Shred-Tech was the first company to offer a retractable bin tunnel, and this important feature has been included on this model. The bin tunnel works with the Gripper Tipper® to provide a safe working environment and to protect your customers’ secure information during the loading process.

Controls

The power of the MDS-2C comes from our state-of-the-art Plus+1 micro-control system with advanced intelligence to help you stay in control throughout the shredding process. Located within easy reach on the passenger side of the vehicle, this control panel has a number of features that significantly improve its performance, such as digital gauges, pin counters, job timer, automatic bin counter, and more. It also features parallel ignition, which allows you to put the truck’s key in the auxiliary position from outside of the cab and then remotely start the truck from the control panel. The panel also has two cameras: one above the shredder and one in the payload compartment so you have a clear visual throughout the shredding process.

Backup Camera with Stainless-Steel Guard

This reliable backup camera with stainless-steel guard is a proven solution to increasing security while out on the job. This camera helps improve visibility for the driver while maneuvering the oversized vehicle. The camera features durable stainless-steel guard protection that helps protect the camera from inclement weather and impact.

Data Destruction

The Shred-Tech® ST-5 Mobile Data Destruction Shredder is an excellent addition to your truck as it works to ensure complete destruction of your client’s confidential and personal data drives. It has a throughput of 750 hard drives per hour and 1,000 solid-state drives per hour, and it’s strong enough to effectively rip the drive down into shreds, protecting your customers’ information and offering them peace of mind. Physical destruction is the only method to fully ensure the data cannot be retrieved or reconstructed, and so adding a Data Destruction Shredder to your fleet can add a healthy stream of additional revenue.

Please note that the addition of the data bearing device shredder will reduce the truck’s payload.
